BioI am a music focused sort. Music permeates through everything that I do. I have a BS in computer engineering and an MS in Music Engineering Technology. I also spin D'n'B and otherwise enjoy manipulating preexisting media and building soft synths on the computer. On a related front I tend to play in Max/MSP. I'm currently working toward a PhD in Arts Computing at Goldsmiths College, University of London. I haven't committed to a working dissertation title yet, but my research interests [currently] involve computational music similarity, looking into novel methods of combining content-based (waveform derived) methods, with web-crawl/data-mining techniques. The goal would be to make content-based systems more culturally aware, while minimizing the mob-decision effect
Further, I am a bit of a politics junky (time allowing) with a bit or two of a leftward tilt.
Um, I seem to really like school, so i am just going to keep getting degrees untill i can't get anymore i think.
Plus i just made a resolution to stay out later, party more and go to more clubs. [preferably DJing at them, but i'll take what i can get]
